🔬 Exploring Thermal Decomposition of Ceramic Materials with STA
Ceramic materials are widely used in electronics, aerospace, and energy industries due to their excellent thermal stability, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. Understanding their decomposition temperature and weight loss behavior is essential for optimizing processes and applications.
Using Simultaneous Thermal Analysis (STA), we accurately evaluated a ceramic sample under a nitrogen atmosphere with a heating rate of 10°C/min (20°C–900°C). The results showed a decomposition temperature of 217.56°C, with a 7.93% weight loss between 112.05°C and 536.02°C.
With high-precision sensors and a stable furnace design, STA ensures reliable and repeatable data, supporting deeper insights into material performance.
At CeramXpert, we provide high-quality, cost-effective thermal analysis consumables to support your research and production needs.
