49-Well Alumina Microreaction Plate | Multi-Compartment Ceramic Titration Plate
This 49-Well Alumina Microreaction Plate is designed with 10 divided compartments, allowing for simultaneous testing or processing of multiple samples. Manufactured from high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃ > 99%), it offers excellent thermal stability, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength.
Ideal for tube furnaces with an inner diameter larger than 46 mm, this crucible ensures long-term durability under demanding thermal conditions, suitable for continuous use at temperatures up to 1600°C.
This 49-Well Alumina Microreaction Plate is made from high-purity Al₂O₃ (>99%) using a precision slip-casting process to ensure high density and smooth, uniform surfaces inside and out. It offers excellent resistance to high temperatures and chemical corrosion, making it ideal for multi-sample reactions, titration experiments, or high-temperature laboratory applications.
Designed for continuous use at temperatures up to 1600°C, it can also be customized to meet specific laboratory or industrial requirements.

Precautions for Using 99% Alumina Crucibles
-
Pre-drying: Before first use, place the crucible or plate in an oven at approximately 105°C for 120 minutes to remove moisture.
-
Avoid direct flame: Do not heat directly with gasoline, acetylene, or alcohol torches to prevent cracking from uneven heating.
-
Maintain distance: Keep at least 2 cm between the crucible and heating elements (carbon tubes, silicon carbide rods, heating wires, etc.).
-
Controlled temperature change:
-
Below 1200°C: heating/cooling rate ≤5°C per minute
-
Above 1200°C: heating/cooling rate ≤4°C per minute
-
Use controlled power cooling to avoid thermal shock.
-
-
Support placement: For large crucibles, avoid direct contact with the furnace floor. Use corundum or other heat-resistant plates to elevate the crucible, promote air circulation, and extend its lifespan.
